Job Description

Job responsibilities

Take part in all database procedures, including upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
Assist in designing and coding basic-level systems, programs, and interfaces
Ensure database performance, security, and availability
Develop data migration procedures and define data Integration/migration needs
Collaborate and create robust ETL architecture design, load strategies, and ETL mapping documentation
Write and execute unit test plans and keep track of any processing issues

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of experience in database development or database administration (rare exceptions for exceptionally skilled developers)
Prolific knowledge of Microsoft T-SQL programming and ETL (Microsoft SSIS) tools
Extensive working experience with Microsoft SQL server
Solid understanding of the practical application of NoSQL\NewSQL databases
Stronghold on Data Marts, Operational Data Store (ODS), OLAP, Dimensional Data Modeling, Star Schema Modeling, and Snow-Flake Modeling
Hands-on experience in generating SQL queries from given structure and Syntax, as well as addressing complex database queries
Fluency in English for effective communication
Availability to work with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
